I have been drawing since I was able to hold a pencil." Says Liz. Much of her inspiration comes from time spent in Colorado Springs as a young girl, where she developed a profound love of nature and the great outdoors. "I used to ride around on a stick and pretend it was a horse and draw all the places I'd seen." While in high school Liz had the opportunity to attend a pre-college program at the San Francisco Art Institute. "I stayed at a hostel and went to class three days a week focusing on painting and life to line drawing." Liz returned from San Francisco, graduated from Westside High School, and leased her first commercial studio space in downtown Omaha's Hot Shops, where she worked along side her Mother Patti Rosholm for three years. The two later converted the basement of their home into their own studio. Liz continued her education at the Creative Center in Omaha before taking a position as the creative director at a local marketing firm. Liz 's passion for art is contagious and we are happy to have her as part of our curbside community.
